Our
team of physiotherapists are all chartered and registered with the
Health Professions Council. They have a minimum of 4yrs experience
and some considerably more.
Joanne
Cheyette has been a physiotherapist since 1991 when she
gained her Diploma of physiotherapy at the Withington School of
Physiotherapy and became a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
She has a wealth of experience working as a senior therapist both
within the NHS and the private sector. In 2000 she bought Imperial
Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic and has taken the time
since to develop not only the quality and range of services provided,
but also the professional and modern surroundings that you will
experience when coming for treatment.
Annie
Rea trained at the University of Birmingham gaining her
BSc (Hons) in 1995 and becoming Chartered in the same year. Since
qualification she has developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal
disorders and has worked in Leicester and Coventry in both NHS and
private sectors. Annie has recently completed post-graduate training
with The Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI)
and is now a Certified Instructor conducting both mat-based classes
and individual Modified Pilates sessions.
Gaynor
Allen has been our receptionist/patient co-ordinator (our
rock!) since 2004.She joined when the practice was being re-furbished
and battled through the building work and frayed tempers, making
sure the clinic ran as smoothly as always. In her words “
the practice is now an oasis of calm with just the right amount
of coffee, magazines, excellent treatment and a winning smile from
me!”
Paul
Hood qualified from Coventry University in 2002. Following
that he has worked in the NHS in Coventry and started working at
Imperial Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic in 2004. He specialises
in manual/manipulative therapy, sports injuries and acupuncture.
Nick
Scott qualified from the University of Wales College of
Medicine in 2001. Since he has worked within the NHS in South Wales
and with a Rugby Team. He only recently joined the team at Imperial
Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic. His specialties include
sports physiotherapy, acupuncture and manipulative therapy.
